The wedding was 5-16-26 and the issues with my daughter and SIL cake is still a nightmare and communication has been poor to put it mildly. I have left 7 voicemails and one email since the wedding and have not received a single phone call returned. The owner emailed once and said the cake was a replicate of the photo provided. We had a cake tasting in March and the bakery called my daughter the Wednesday BEFORE their wedding and said they lost the cake tasting notes! My daughter, the Bride, called me crying. She provided a single photo and didn't reiterate the design changes. The design changes were to create an ombre affect which they told us was no problem. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered to the venue and NOBODY spoke to anyone on site. The came was left in the refrigerator without a phone call, text or in-person communication. The bridal consultant came and got me from hair and make-up because they realized the cake was delivered and it didn't look like the design or color pallet coordinated with the venue decor. My husband and I stopped by today for a quick treat on my lunch break. Once we saw the shakes we knew we had to try it! We both got Freakshakes- he got the Nutella and I got the Unicorn! So beautiful and delicious! We have a new favorite dessert place!

They make very beautiful cakes and delicious too. They are in downtown Lakeland. If you need any special occasion, holiday,birthday and etc. they are definitely the place to go. Check out their cakes on their website. You won't be disappointed. Today is Sunday Feb 23rd seen three bad reviews, About rude counter girl, store hours and such, this owner is going through a lot health issues in his family right now. Everyone there has been under stress so please refrain from the rude comments and be patient and understanding.

We had a great experience from the tasting months before to actually cutting and eating our cake on wedding day. Not only did Cake Makers make our dream wedding wedding cake with the gold foil but it was seamlessly delivered with no issues. I love a good bakery and everything they make here is delicious! Next time we are in Lakeland I will be back for a bakery treat! -The Smiths
